Creating games and fun experiences is my passion!
I am a fast learner who self-taught programming, modeling and animation and successfully published two mobile games on google play store in 3 months.
I do and love anything related to games and game design.
The breaking boards experience during college in karate club came into my mind when I was deciding the topic of my new hyper-casual game. The satisfaction of breaking the boards perfectly fit for hyper-casual genre.
I designed:
- Game mechanic: how to get player engaged with minimal control
- Progress design: change in appearance to indicate progress
Player controls the bricks left and right to aim white mark for perfect hit and avoid hitting black mark
Rainbow mode is added to balance the difficulty and give incentive to player to aim for perfect hit. Player can enter rainbow mode every time they reach 10 combos. It is intentionally hidden from tutorial guide in order to bring surprise and extra satisfaction to player. All of the testers enjoyed this little surprise!
The color on player's belt will be changed according to the current score in game and the highest score in menu. This gives player a sense of progression in game, which can significantly increase the chance of the player to draw back into my game.
